DRAGONFLY PROJECT
In this project Carolina uses the dragonfly to symbolise the ephemeral nature of life. As we follow the dragonfly throughout the project, we emerge ourselves in her beautiful universe of happiness & appreciation but also vulnerability & fragility.
Carolina uses vibrant colours and golden leaf techniques to interact with and touch the emotional side of the observer.
THE FOUR SEASONS PROJECT I
With these paintings Carolina wants to depict the different stages in life. Life is beautiful, loving but also ephemeral and fragile. The message in these paintings is "Carpe Diem": Enjoy the little things in life and appreciate what you have, before it´s all too late!​​

This painting was created to go with Francois Borne´s music piece of the same name. It depicts the passionate love story between Carmen and Don José that ultimately turns into a drama.

Bavaria:
Female personification of the Bavarian homeland, and by extension its strength and glory. She is not alone, around her fly a multitude of ephemeral insects.
This painting was created to match the composition from Carolina´s musician colleague, Raphaelle Zaneboni. This painting shows how it is possible and is an enriching experience to live side by side even if we are different.
